KIKI & NUNA series honors
Since its launch, Suzhou Aola Animation Technology Co., Ltd.’s original children’s animation IP KIKI & NUNA has received multiple recognitions for its positive values, solid production quality, and continuous series development. The series has been recognized through national, provincial, municipal, and industry-level programs and awards, including NRTA recommendations, National Outstanding Domestic Animation honors, the Jiangsu “Five-One Project” Excellent Work Award, Suzhou Excellent Copyright Award, National Key Cultural Export Project, and the “Original Power” China Original Animation Support Program.

As one of Suzhou Aola Animation Technology Co., Ltd.’s key original children’s IPs, KIKI & NUNA has always been created from a child-centered perspective. The series focuses on science education, emotional growth, positive habits, and aesthetic exploration, using warm and engaging stories to accompany children as they grow. With its positive values, solid production quality, and continuous development, the series has received multiple recognitions at national, provincial, municipal, and industry levels.
The first season of KIKI & NUNA centers on scientific principles, emotional communication, safety knowledge, and behavioral guidance. After premiering on CCTV-14 in 2020, the series was released across major online platforms and distributed to overseas markets including South Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, as well as Taiwan and Hong Kong, China. The work received wide recognition and was included in the Quality Project Support Program by Jiangsu Provincial Radio and Television Administration, recommended as an Outstanding Domestic Animation by the National Radio and Television Administration, and later named a National Outstanding Domestic Animation of the Year. It also won the Jiangsu 12th “Five-One Project” Excellent Work Award, demonstrating both its social value and market influence.
Continuing the spirit of the first season, KIKI & NUNA 2 further focuses on children’s habits and emotional education. Through lighthearted stories, it helps young viewers build positive daily routines and behavior patterns. The second season premiered on CCTV-14 in June 2023 and was later broadcast through local TV stations, online platforms, and aviation media. It was selected as one of the NRTA Outstanding Domestic TV Animations for Q4 2023, continuing to show the vitality of the series in children’s content creation.
As the third work in the series, KIKI & NUNA: A Beautiful New World focuses on aesthetic education, with content designed around “discovering, appreciating, and creating beauty.” The project integrates elements of traditional Chinese culture and intangible cultural heritage, encouraging children to experience beauty through stories. It was selected as an NRTA Key Animation Project, 2024 Second Batch, and was also proposed for the 2025 “Original Power” China Original Animation Support Program, reflecting recognition of Aola Animation’s exploration in children’s aesthetic education.
In addition, the KIKI & NUNA series won the Second Prize of Suzhou Excellent Copyright Award and was selected as a 2025–2026 National Key Cultural Export Project. These honors reflect the series’ comprehensive value in copyright protection, original IP development, and international distribution potential.
From content quality to copyright value, from domestic broadcasting to cultural export, the recognitions received by KIKI & NUNA reflect strong affirmation of Aola Animation’s commitment to original children’s animation.
